The
two charities supported
by Latin American Challenge were chosen after careful consideration.
The expedition team were keen to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis
because it is the most common neurological disorder among young adults, for which there is no cure.
Rainforest Concern was chosen as the team wanted to contribute
positively towards the conservation of Latin America.
All monies collected through collection boxes and the sale of charity
merchandise (i.e. pins) will go to the respective charities. All
other monies raised and donated to the challenge will be split
between the two charities unless specific instruction from donors
indicate otherwise.
ALL funds raised will go these charities. Under no
circumstances will money raised go to finance the expedition.
